City of Mounds View <br />abandoned, junk, and unsafe motor vehicles. <br /> <br /> <br />b. If the City utilizes its own equipment and personnel pursuant to its authority under <br />Section 607.07 Subd. 11, and the use of the equipment and personnel conforms to the <br />MPCA’s plan for solid waste management and is in compliance with MPCA rules, the <br />City may be reimbursed by the MPCA for reasonable costs incurred which are not <br />reimbursed under Section 607.06 Subd. 10. <br /> <br />c. If the MPCA demands that the City contract for the disposal of impounded vehicles <br />and other scrap metal pursuant to the MPCA’s plan for solid waste disposal and the City <br />fails to contract within 180 days of the demand, the MPCA, through the Department of <br />Administration and on behalf of the City, may contract with any person duly licensed by <br />the MPCA for the disposal. <br /> <br /> <br /> a. Impounding: Any police officer or other duly authorized person may order any vehicle <br />constituting a public nuisance to be immediately removed and/or impounded. The <br />impounded vehicle shall be surrendered to the duly identified owner by the towing <br />contractor only upon payment of the required impound, towing and storage fees. <br /> <br /> b. Sale: Notice and sale of any vehicle impounded under this Chapter shall be conducted in <br />accordance with Minnesota Statutes, chapter 168B, governing the sale of abandoned motor <br />vehicles. (Ord. 556, 3-20-95) <br /> <br /> <br />607.07: 607.08: NOISE CONTROL REGULATIONS: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Loud Or Unnecessary Noises Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person to make or <br />cause to be made any loud, unnecessary or unusual noise which either annoys, disturbs or <br />affects the comfort, repose, health or peace of others. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Loud Or Disturbing Noises Enumerated; Restrictions: The following acts set forth in the <br />following paragraphs are declared to be loud, disturbing and unnecessary noises in violation <br />of this Section, but said enumeration shall not be deemed to be exclusive: <br />
