Item No. 4 <br />Meeting Date: February 4, 2002 <br />Type of Business: WK <br />WK: Work Session; PH: Public Hearing; <br />CA: Consent Agenda; CB: Council Business City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Givonna Reed, Assistant City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Fire Department’s Use of the Banquet Center <br />Date of Report: January 31, 2002 <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Lanz, a Prevention Specialist with the Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds <br />View Fire Department, has made a request to use the Banquet Center to hold a <br />safety fair for senior citizens. The safety fair would serve approximately 100 <br />seniors from Mounds View and the surrounding areas and would focus on issues <br />such as driving safety, falls, fire safety and credit card safety. The safety fair will <br />be held some time in mid April. <br /> <br />Mr. Lanz is requesting use of the Banquet Center free of charge.
