Mounds View City Council Page Seven <br /> • <br /> Regular Meeting February 14, 1994 <br /> 1. Report of Councilmembers: <br /> a. Councilmember Trude was out ill. <br /> b. Councilmember Wuori - No report. <br /> c. Councilmember Quick - No report. <br /> d. Councilmember Blanchard - No report. <br /> Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> a. On Wednesday, February 16, 1994, Mounds View will host the Ramsey <br /> County League of Local Government meeting. <br /> b. The City received a letter from a resident who had to pay for tree <br /> removal and was very happy that they could go through the City to do <br /> so and further stated that Mounds View was a fine place to live. <br /> The letter was written by Mary and Steve Huebner. <br /> Report of Administrator: <br /> a. Samantha Orduno reported that the Mounds View City Appreciation <br /> Event will be held on March 18 at the Bel-Rae Ballroom. Tickets are <br /> $12 . 50. All questions regarding this event can be answered by <br /> calling the Park and Recreation Department. Orduno stated that this <br /> is a time when the City recognizes its staff, volunteers, boards and <br /> commissions in a very special way. Orduno stated that there are <br /> many persons receiving twenty and twenty-five year awards <br /> Mayor Linke stated that the longevity of staff is not comparable in <br /> any other City. <br /> b. March 28 will be the date of the final Focus Report. <br /> Report of Staff: <br /> Mary Saarion, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry stated that the <br /> ice r-- nks_will_bQ_open un-til_the day after President s Da-y for_the=kids <br /> to enjoy while they are out of school. <br /> Mayor Linke announced the upcoming Council Meeting Dates. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business before this Council, Mayor Linke <br /> adjourned the meeting at 7: 55 p.m. <br /> Re,pectfu :mitted, <br /> Miche e S-- -rson <br /> 411 Recordi' ► Secretary <br />
