Mounds View City Council Page Two <br /> • Regular Meeting March 14, 1994 <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to Adopt the Consent Agenda as presented. <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> There were no requests or comments made at this meeting. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 7: 05 p.m. Consideration of Adoption of Ordinance No. 535 Amending <br /> Chapter 1301 of the Municipal Code Entitled, "Flood Plain Zoning" <br /> Acting Mayor Blanchard opened the Public Hearing at 7 : 09 p.m. <br /> Paul Harrington, City Planner explained that Ordinance No. 535 would <br /> amend Chapter 1301 of the Mounds View Municipal Code to include <br /> definitions and information recommended by the Department of Natural <br /> Resources following their review of the Chapter in early December of <br /> 1993 . Harrington stated that Ordinance No. 535 had been introduced to <br /> the City Council at the February 28 , 1994 Council Meeting. Consideration of Resolution Nos. 4517 and 4518 Regarding Easements <br /> for MWCC Blaine Interceptor Project <br /> (Paul Harrington explained that he had received a call from the MWCC <br /> on Friday, March 11, 1994 and was instructed to combine the two <br /> resolutions into one resolution, Resolution No. 4523) . <br /> Paul Harrington, City Planner, explained that in a meeting with <br /> MWCC, staff was informed that parcels 1 and 2 (in Greenfield Park) <br /> were acquired by the City through tax forfeiture. Harrington <br /> further explained that because of this the State of Minnesota has a <br /> controlling interest in those parcels. MWCC is requesting that the <br /> 410 City Council adopt a resolution which will authorize the temporary <br /> conveyance of City interest in the two parcels back to the State so <br />
