MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to Approve the June 13 , 1994 Regular <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF ADVISORY COMMISSION MINUTES: <br /> There were no Advisory Commission Minutes to approve. <br /> SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> a. Mayor Linke read Resolution No. 4593 Commending the Irondale High <br /> School Baseball Team for Winning the Consolation Championship in the <br /> 1994 State Baseball Tournament. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Linke/Quick to Adopt Resolution No. 4593 Commending <br /> the Irondale High School Baseball Team for Winning the Consolation <br /> Championship in the 1994 State Baseball Tournament <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> • Mayor Linke explained that there were no representatives from the <br /> baseball team able to attend the meeting. Mayor Linke asked that <br /> Councilmember Quick, on behalf of the citizens of Mounds View and <br /> the City Council , present the award to the team. <br /> Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, introduced to the <br /> community, Joyce Pruitt, the City' s new Planning Associate who will be <br /> handling code enforcement issues for the City. Ms. Pruitt thanked the <br /> Council and staff for the welcome and stated she was enthusiastic about <br /> her new position. <br /> CONSENT_ AGENDA <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, read the Consent Agenda <br /> Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired removed <br /> from the Consent Agenda. There were no items removed. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Quick to Adopt the Consent Agenda As Presented <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Mayor Linke commented that there are now 18 licensed garbage haulers in <br /> Mounds View who put a lot of wear and tear on the streets which will cost <br /> the City more money in street repairs. <br />
