Mounds View City Council Page Three <br /> 4111 Regular Meeting July 25, 1994 <br /> Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired removed <br /> from the Consent Agenda. There were no items removed. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Blanchard to Adopt the Consent Agenda As Presented <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> Kathleen Harstad, Harstad Development, wondered when and if their <br /> builders can get additional building permits for their development. <br /> Mayor Linke stated that all punch lists and construction had to be <br /> completed on the two buildings. Kathleen Harstad stated that all items <br /> on the punch list have been completed other than one fire hydrant. <br /> Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, stated that Council <br /> had agreed on the construction of two buildings and that no additional <br /> permits would be granted the issuance of two building permits. Harstad <br /> had asked at the July 5th meeting if staff could release the cash escrow <br /> funds and the Council asked that this be brought back to a Council <br /> meeting. Harrington stated that the City had not been asked to <br /> visit the site as of last Thursday and Friday. <br /> 4111 Kathleen Harstad stated that she believed her company was on the <br /> agenda for this evening. Harstad also stated that she had asked <br /> the City to inspect via fax of last week. <br /> Mike Ulrich, Public Works Director, clarified that the bituminous <br /> work had not been completed on the 12th of July, but on the 19th. <br /> Harstad stated the work had been completed. Harstad stated that in <br /> a meeting with Paul and Mike that she stated that her major concern was <br /> the building permits. <br /> Harstad stated that she requested a final inspection prior to the <br /> duly-2-5th meeting because- she-understood-thatHarstad was on the agenda,- <br /> Harrington explained that Mike and he were at a meeting and did not <br /> get back to the office until after 3 : 00 p.m. and did not get a chance to <br /> look at the fax. Harrington explained that the punch list was not <br /> complete as there were no operating rods in place. Harrington stated <br /> that he found that out late Friday night and this would take some <br /> figuring as to how this gets done. <br /> Ulrich explained what an operating rod was. Water could not be turned on <br /> or off. <br /> Harstad stated that when she agreed to the punch list she did not know <br /> enough about those stops and that the plumbers had made errors on half of <br /> 1111 the lots and not put them in and that when the builder attaches to the <br /> City water, the rods could be put in. <br /> i <br />
