PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> • CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> *Special Meeting <br /> (Meeting was called to order during the Work Session) <br /> August 1, 1994 <br /> Mounds View City Hall <br /> 2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor Linke at <br /> 7: 10 p.m. <br /> The following items were identified for consideration: <br /> • Finalization of Greenfield Pond Development <br /> • Reconsideration of Proposed Woodale Park Grant <br /> • Awarding of Patching Contract Bid <br /> • Awarding of Seal Coating Bid <br /> Catherine Harstad commented that very little was yet to be done at <br /> the Greenfield Pond development and that what was left to do would <br /> be completed within the week. Mayor Linke suggested that Paul <br /> • Harrington and Mike Ulrich be authorized to sign off on the <br /> remaining punch list items and issue building permits upon their <br /> satisfaction that the project was complete. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Linke to authorize Paul and Mike to finalize <br /> project compliance and issue building permits upon completion. <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Mayor Like noted that this afternoon he had received a letter from <br /> Mr. Belisle that he wished to withdraw his offer to sell the land <br /> on Woodale to the City for use as a park. The issue of the grant <br /> for the proposed park—appeared tote moot_._ <br /> Councilmember Trude commented that she wished to discuss the <br /> matter, especially since she had received calls from people who <br /> were in favor of the park. She noted that last week the Council had <br /> heard the negative comments, she would now like to hear the <br /> positive comments about the proposed park. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Linke to reconsider the grant application for <br /> the proposed Woodale Park. <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Trude commented that this afternoon she learned of a petition, <br /> signed by 42 people who were in favor of the park. She stated she <br /> would like to hear from people who were in favor of the park. <br />
