LOEDING ADDRESSED THE COMMISSION REGARDING THE QUESTION OF WHETHER OR <br /> NOT THE CHARTER SHOULD BE AMENDED IN THE AREA OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, <br /> PARTICULARLY IN THE AREA OF MORE CLEARLY DEFINING THE DUTIES OF THE CLERK- <br /> ADMINISTRATOR, SO THERE WOULD BE NO MISUNDERSTANDING AS TO THE AUTHORITY OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE DUTIES AND AUTHORITY OF THE CLERK-ADMINISTRATOR. <br /> RECENT CONFLICTS OVER "TURF" BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR IN <br /> THE AREAS OF PAY RAISES, BUDGET REVISIONS AND CITY REORGANIZATION WERE CITED - <br /> AS REASONS WHY THIS ISSUE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED. <br /> AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION, A MOTION WAS MADE BY R. WARREN THAT A "CLERK-ADMINISTRATOR <br /> DUTIES REVIEW COMMITTEE" BE ESTABLISHED WITH 5 MEMBERS, TWO OF WHICH SHOULD <br /> BE CITY COUNCILMEMBERS. SECONDED BY N. LOEDING. CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> THE FOLLOWING WERE APPOINTED TO THE COMMITTEE: BILL DOTY, COUNCILMEMBER <br /> DON HODGES, COUNCILMEMBER <br /> NEIL LOEDING <br /> BILL WERNER <br /> RUTH WHITE <br /> THE FIRST MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE WAS SET FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 20TH, AT 7:30 P.M., <br /> AT CITY HALL. <br /> VIII.
