Mounds View Planning Commission <br />Regular Meeting <br />December 3, 2008 <br />Page 3 <br />Mr. Rundle stated he has assisted with various activities with the marching band. <br />Mr. Paul Schiltgen, applicant, stated he moved into Mounds View in July of this past year and <br />was looking to get involved with the city either with the Planning Commission or another <br />commission. <br />Chair Stevenson asked if he would have any issues attending the two meetings per month. <br />Mr. Schiltgen stated that this would not be a problem. <br />Commissioner Walsh-Kaczmarek asked if he had done any other volunteer work. <br />Mr. Schiltgen stated he previously has worked with a church on Rice Street assisting inner-city <br />kids. He also asked how the current Planning Commissioners liked serving on the commission. <br />Commissioner Gunn stated that it has helped all the current commissioners. <br />Commissioner Walsh-Kaczmarek stated that it has given her a better opportunity to learn more <br />about the Mounds View community. <br />Community Development Director Roberts instructed the commissioners to vote for four of the <br />applicants on the ballot. <br />The recording secretary tabulated the votes and submitted the results to Planning Associate <br />Heller, <br />Associate Heller read the four names that received the most votes: Jean Miller, Gary Stevenson, <br />Gary Meehlhause and Gary Rundle. She stated that the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation for four Commissioners would be passed to the City Council to make the final <br />appointments on December 22, 2009. <br />7. Adjournment to Agenda Session <br />There being no further business before the Planning Commission, Chair Stevenson adjourned the <br />meeting at 7:20 p.m. <br />(The meeting immediately adjourned to the Agenda Session) <br />
