Stole C. Forslund <br />W. Weibel G, Gustafson <br />p, elAnchrzd ,T: Sullivan <br />Dale pall,ack, Paul E. Bong and Chris PieheEVSni ware <br />also present. <br />Mayor Crane introduced hir. Lawrence, President of the <br />Brooklyn Center. State Bank, who stated that the Kausel <br />ie inteseatedlinalacatingiin9Mounds~Viewhes to expand and <br />hir. Weibel of the Planning Commisslon, Mayor Crane, <br />end Mr. Boll o£ the Industrial Committee are to meet with <br />Mr, Lawrence and make a tour of the Foundry on Wednesday, <br />August 15, 19b2 to see it in operation and to see if it will <br />qualify to xonin9 standards. <br />.-~ The matter was referred to .the Planner regarding a <br />~,~ suitable location. <br />Mr. Andrew Simon presented preliminary plane fir a Motel <br />and Supper Club that he wishes to locate on Highway #10 at <br />Grovoland Road. <br />MOTION by Sullivan that the Planning Commission refer <br />the matter to the Cohncll to set 'a herring for rezoning of <br />the property to an R-3 classification and that the plans be <br />'referred to the Planner fnr his recommendations which ha <br />should present at the next regular Planning Meeting. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. td~;t:on Carrie <br />It was au~geated try the Planner that a specie! use permits <br />~ could be usei: or the motel. <br />Chairman Stole turned the melting aver to Mr. Jack Heil <br />Chairman of the Industrial Committee. <br />Mayor Crane stated that interest has been shown in the <br />Toner property, located on Highway #8 south of the Pinewood Club <br />as a possinle site for a Dri~~e-In Theater. <br />Mr. Robert Waste read figures showing the amount of <br />texas paid into the Village by the Roae Theater. <br />'hCTION by Jim Johnson that the Industrial Development <br />`"~ Committee recommend to the Council and to the Planning <br />Commission that the proposal be accepted if the Toner property <br />is the site chosen for the theater <br />Motion seconded and carried. <br />
