GATEWAY TO THE NORTH <br />October 25, 1972 <br />The regular melting of the '.ounds View Planning Commission was oalled to <br />order by Chairman Stole at 7:30 P.M. Members present Stole, Burggraff, <br />Gustafson, Glazer, Folok, 'awake, Hillsdale, Forslund and Blanchard. W. <br />Skiba was also present. <br />The minntse of the September meeting were read 'and approved. The minutes <br />of the special meeting were corrected to change the mooting date from <br />September 4th to October 4th. <br />Ray G. Talborg, 5371 Clifton Drive, requested a variance to put a 14/ <br />addition onto his 20'x20' garage to make it 20!x34 <br />MOTION by Burgg::xff to approve the request for a variance. Seoonded by <br />uL� stafson. Carried. <br />C) ger Koopmeiner, 7760 KnollWoOd, questioned the Cotmnission on the <br />ssibility of setting his now house 10 or 15 feet.ahoad of other houses <br />on his street to give him a bigger beck yard. Other houses all -set back <br />51` from road. <br />It was suggested that he get approval from his neighbors before he applies <br />for a variance. <br />Mr. Stole read a letter from Mayor Nelsen concerning additional things <br />for the Planning Commissir,n to check on for commercial sites4 <br />iOTI0i1 by Iil..ticltar.d'to suggest that the .Council retain a planning <br />oU"nsultant on a oontingency,basis to review site end building plans <br />for oorntaoraial and industrial development, including multiple' dwellings, <br />and including the seven points mentioned in the October '24th letter from <br />Mayor flcisen to'the Planning Commission. <br />Seconded by @lazer.
