November 28, 1973 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Planning Commission was called <br />to order by chairman ,tnle at 7:30 P.U. Members present: Stole, Glazer, <br />Gustafson, Burmeister, Feick, Durggraff, 3helquist, Haake, and Blanchard. <br />W. Skiha was also present. <br />The minutes of th e previous meeting were road and approved. <br />Robert ti'Wcste, 2345 County Read H -2, requested a speoial use permit to <br />grade property east of the Launohina. Pad Supper Club for additional park- <br />ing and a snow storage area. <br />It ws thataifyhe wishesttotcontinuetgrading covering over <br />that h sand, uggested a grade <br />plan and reapply for a permit. <br />MOTION by Glazer to recommend that a special use permit be held in <br />abayanoe until a grade plan is presented. Seoonded by Haake. Carried. <br />*LOTION by Hooke that ground oover (mulch) be planed on the area to hold <br />Bing sand within one weak. Seoonded by Glazer. Carried. <br />Liquor Store Expansion <br />MOTION by Gustafson to recommend approval of the Waste application to <br />convert his store from a grocery/liquor 4Yflbusinee0s esponsiall <br />al <br />lishment with the stipulation that Mr. <br />future traffio flow problems developing from the expansion. Seoonded by <br />'Feick. Carried. <br />Gerald Foss requested subdivision of the Rodney Erickson property at <br />8418 Spring Lake Road into three (3) lots. (Sub 89 except S 30' Of E 300) <br />MOTION by Slotgsie that width, and d therefore <br />footage in lot size, one lot <br />the application be DENIED unless the lot width is made 85'. Seoonded by <br />Burmeister. Carrie <br />Pt Planting, who pre'sentedntheir to newcompr eat <br />comprehensive <br />planfog, <br />plan for the Village of Mounds View. <br />Theodore Holston, 3213 Townview Avenue, wishes to subdivide Lot 16,, <br />Woodlawn Terrace, into two (2) lots 133.5x125' eaoh. <br />MOTION by Gustafson to recommend approval of the lot split on the describe <br />e property with the granting of a 30' street easement. Seconded by <br />Durggraff. Carried.' <br />Duane Olson presented a preliminary sketch for development of Lot 8 and <br />'‘the E of Lot 9, Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition. <br />LOTION by Shelquist that it is the sense of the Planning Commission that <br />I <br />
