Also present Roger Baumgartner and Welly Vibe. <br />ABSENT: Houle. <br />MINUTES: The minutes of the lost meeting, ware reed and approved. <br />BUSINESS: Smith Rrsnsfer Trucking Corp. Special nes permit. <br />M p Mr. Lee Liljgren representing Smith Transfer Trucking Corp, appeared <br />Aap eetaeaw,before the planning commisnicn regarding, a special use permit for <br />a trunk terminal. <br />There has been contact with the P.O.A in order to seek recommendation <br />or answer any questions P.C.A. may have. <br />Mr. Liljgren indicated there is a gap of 200 ft. between the lot line <br />and where the present storm sewer ends. Because of this, Smith <br />Transfer intends to petition the Council to have this 200 ft. of <br />storm sewer put in. <br />Land donation, the Smith Transfer epok -.amen indlosted they wanted <br />to wait until the lend is 'sold, to decide on how such land tc donate, <br />since this may affect the sale. <br />There hes been contact with Mr. J. Tobermsn of the Towns Edge Mobile <br />mark, concerning the buffer to be used between the two parcels of <br />land. It was augge::ted by Mr. 'L'obermnn, that Smith Transfer contact <br />Mr. Memens of the 'Town Edge Mobil Home Park, to work on the type, of <br />buffer the residents of the mobile-hone perk wculd like to see put up. <br />A meeting is planned within the next weak between Smith Transfer and <br />Mr. Remains. <br />Concern wee expressed :bout washing the trucks and the soap discharge <br />and if there would be drrinege 'r.to the storm sewer, and would e <br />permit from P.C.A. be needed. Mr. tiljgren Meted that he `tv.d <br />,inquired this and :1r. Kunoe of the P.O.A. indicated a permit <br />WS s not need.dl, since ti trucks wilt ba washed dneide and the <br />drainage will go into the reguisr sewer, not the storm sewer. <br />Fencing willyRw,y. Dept. recommendation of 8 ft. with three (3) <br />:strands or barb wire. Mr. Liljgren stewed they would like to include <br />in the agreement with the village the eszan wording es in Article VI <br />of the Century Motor Freight Agreement, but with the wording in the <br />first sentence to read: The provision for drainage must be approved <br />by the Village Engineer and Rios Creek Wstersned District. <br />Question arose about gas storage tanks, Mr. Liljgren indicated there <br />would be no gas storage tanks, out two (2), 10,000 gal. underground <br />diesel fuel tanks. <br />Smith Transfer proposed a 20 rt. wide strap on the bock Tenon line <br />to be used for berm or other buffer. The village ordinance requires <br />a tau ft. wide strip. Mr. Liljgren agreed to this but wanted these <br />requirements put into the agreement with the village. <br />MS1' (Glszsr /Blanchard) to recommend approval of the special permit <br />but subject to endorsement by the Rice Creek 'Watershed and the P.C.A. <br />It is further stipulated tnat a mutually setiefeotory agreement be <br />
