ri <br />Non Fee Ibem: <br />Mr. Al Zepper. Amending the Zoning Ordinance, Seotion 40.03 <br />Subdivision 6. Concerning the height of fencing. <br />Mr. All Zapper of aawdaw Fending along with several other <br />residents attending the meeting spoke in favor of raising <br />the allowable heighth when putting up fencing. Mr. Al Zepper <br />stated that moos other ooamunities a11ow up to 4 inok <br />fenos. Other residents spoke in favor of allowing up to a <br />4 inch fence. <br />The Comaiaeion after discussion among the members would liko <br />to recommend to the Council eubjeot to approval by the <br />Village attorney) the followings <br />M3P Shelquist /Burmeister to reooaend to the Council changes <br />in Subdivision 5, 2b and in Subdivision 6, both being in <br />Section 40.03. <br />Subdivision 5, 2b: Terraces, steps, uncovered porches, stoops <br />or similar features provided they do not extend above the <br />height of the ground floor level of the principal structure or <br />to a distance lees than two (2) feet from any lot linty fences <br />wkiok do not *wooed four (4) feet in height. <br />Subdivision 6: Traffic Visibility. No structures excludi <br />peaces, or planting exceeding 30 inoke ti4 <br />center line grade of the street shall be permitted within a <br />triangular area measured thirty (30) feet from the intersection <br />of lot lines, along lot lines, in order to allow for visibility <br />across the corner. Fences within the same described area <br />aunt kmva at lsvpt 9 v y. .xoep a e_R_ may s <br />measured from the Lit 1 ne itrade level. <br />The underlined areas of the above Subdivisions represents <br />the recommended changes. <br />Mr. Ellerd Rosin, Mesaieh Lutheran Church, proposed parking <br />lot for the church. <br />Mr. Rosin indicated that since the proposed parking lot will <br />be in an area that slopes sharply, a.retaing wall to the <br />south will be built, at certain places to be 10 -12 ft. high, <br />to create a level area for parking. A concern for drainage <br />on Knollwood Dr. especially in the area whore Spring Creek <br />crosses the road was expressed. Also Mr. Rosin was advised <br />that the Churok should contact the home owner to the south of <br />the proposed parking lot (7234 Knollwood Dr.) to get the <br />feeling of these hose owners of how the retaing wall would <br />affect them and their property. Also the Church is to oontaot <br />the property owners west of the proposed parking lot (2916 <br />Co. Rd. R2. <br />The Commission felt that the Village Engineer should be con- <br />tented about the drainage, and Mr. Rosin was advised that <br />when he domes back for an official hearing before the Planning <br />Commission, he should have complete drawings of the proposed <br />site, showing drainage end kow the retaining wall is to be <br />handled and the feelings of the property owners this plan <br />will affect. <br />
