2' <br />Mounds View Planning Oommiesion <br />Regular Meeting, July 25, 1974 <br />OSty Hall <br />Called to orders 7 :45 by okairmen Haake <br />Present: Blanchard, Glaser, Sholquist, Burmeistt., Haake, Hurggraff. <br />Absent: Foss, Maokeben <br />Minutes: The June minutes wore not available and will be read and <br />acted upcn in the next regular resting in August. <br />rra.ainess: Variance John Nieswaag. <br />Lot 7, Block 1, Dailey 's Hillview Addition. <br />Mr. Bissau would like to build a garage within 10 feet of <br />lot line on a corner lot. The garage would face Oakwood Dr. <br />and the side on Jackson Dr. would be 10 feet from the lot <br />line. Jackson Dr. has a 66 foot roadbed, as as a result <br />hous c nods ai30 f tko <br />foot <br />at back, wkink leaves only 10 feet for garage space. <br />It was suggested tkat tke garage be put in the rear of the <br />house, but Mr. Nteawaag was not rsoeptive to this idea. <br />The Commission noted tkat there was no hardship on the land <br />to warrant a 20 foot varianos. <br />MSP Glaser /Burmeister to deny tke request for a 20 foot <br />variance. 6 ayes. Carried <br />MSP Skelquist /Burggraff to recommend, subject to <br />Mr. Nieswaag'm approval, tkat the ocrmiesion grant a 10 foot <br />variance witk the stipulation tkat the garage is to be <br />located 6 toot bank from tko north oast oorner.of tke house, <br />and tke west side of the gargge by oven witk tkoceaet midi <br />of the house, the 10 foot varianoe is from tke Jackson Dr. <br />side. <br />4 ayes. <br />2 nays. Carried. <br />Minor Subdivision, Donald Soh <br />South 100 feet of North 320 feet of Lot 45, Auditors <br />Subdivision #89. <br />Mr. Soh* would like to divide kis property into two (2) lots, <br />ono being 100 X 335 and the other lot being 850 X 125 <br />Mr. Soya s lot is the second loft south of Ardan Ave., facing <br />GrovelandAva. and his rear lot line is on tke tutus <br />Snollwood Dr. Mr. Soho wishes to retain the rear half of <br />kis lot wkiok would require a 15 foot easement on tko !sew <br />lot created, in order to have aoess to the rear lot, until <br />Knollwood Dr. is opened up. <br />Lot lines have already boon establisked soutk of Mr, Sohm's <br />lot so it was suggested tkat tke division be changed to <br />orsatetwo (2) lots 214 feet in dapth witk 5 feet from oaok <br />for utility easement.
