After mach discussion, the commission con- <br />cluded that the M2tro Cou~~cil could noL be a realistic madiary <br />since Hleina has no comprehensive plan froan which to make a fair <br />docision. They also recommended sending a letter to tha Metro <br />Council reminding them they epproved the paragraph in Mounds Yiew <br />Comproliensive Flan regarding no access ~F any kind off uf the n~w <br />intes~change into Mounds View, and to keep this in mind when tliey <br />make nny decisions on this matter. <br />The report also stated if ;amesville airport is to be upgraded, <br />Mounds View would received the full impact of uir traffic. <br />There has been discusszon of this matter previously by pasi <br />Councils and Planning Commissions and they havo consistently <br />opposed upgreding cf Jamesville uirport. The commission fe].t <br />i thore should be another reinstatement af this policy. <br />MSP (Haake-Burmeister) recommend to the City Council to discourage <br />through sll channeis available any future upgrading of Lhe Jamos- <br />ville Airport. ~ 8ye~ <br />The Con~ission decidad that a task force on the subject of the Red <br />Oak interchnnge was not necessary. Howaver, they felt a task <br />force would be usaful in deciding the recreational vehicle parking <br />ordinance. Thoy approved the guidelinns f.or the crea4ion und <br />operat3.on af a task force with a faw mi.ior changos.
