Official <br />Rose replled that the problems Pxperiencad in 1975 would hava been reduced Uut L•hat <br />it would be very difficult and only an ~stimate what that amount would be, <br />Cauncilmember Baumgartner reported that one of the citizens at thc pub71c hearing <br />had checked with the weather bureau and found that the stotm in 1975 was classiri~d <br />as a 50 year storm, which the proposed system would not be capable of handling. <br />Chairperson Haake stated that no one can predlct the wea*.her and thus, they did <br />not know when anoLher storm of that magnitude coutd be expected. <br />Official Rose clarified that the main problem in 1975 was that the City did not <br />possess the capecity of outlet needed, plus the absence of underground systems <br />throughout the city. <br />Commission Member Fedor asked if anyone had checked to see what Blaine would be <br />~ <br />doing with their water problems. Official Rose reptied that µart of 8laine's <br />drainage would be going through Mounds View and that Mounds View would assess <br />
