March 8, 1978 <br />Page 8 <br />Commission Member Glazer stAted thaC he felt th9 ~ity could come uP w1Eh e scaled <br />down system at a iower price Lhat wou1~ meet the raquirements of the City. <br />~ Cumnission Membzr fedor stated that if the pro~ect is set beck, it would allow other <br />Cities time to finish writing their Comprehensive P1ans and perheps one na~or storm <br />sewer system could be designed. <br />Councilmember 8aumgartner asked haw much the citizens felt Chey could efford for a <br />pro~ect, so the Council would have something to work on. Mr. Sorgeent replted that <br />he could not afford 56,500,000 and would not state what he feit he could efford as <br />an indSvidual. <br />L1oyd Scott, 5100 Red Oak Drive stated that when he had butit his house seven years <br />ago, the builder was responsible for all improvements and stated that he did nat <br />see why everyone should have to pa; for th~m now. Ha alsa pointed out that one part <br />of the proposed prn~ect was going to be drained away from Rice Creek.
