Anderaon Construction, atated that <br />when they were fir~t granted conceptual approval, Chey <br />had 112 townhouaes planned, which waa approved by both <br />the Plar.ning Cowmisaion aud City Council, but two months <br />Later they came Uack with a design chenge, changing the <br />112 townhonsee to 1b$ condominiume, which was spproved <br />by tha Council. l;e explained that in the aingle family <br />area they itad planned two-family homes along Silver Lake <br />Road ae a buffer, but now would like to put aingl.e <br />family homes in inetea$, whi.ch would be two lesa homes <br />tttan the two-fami].y izomea. He added they hacl built <br />several eingle iamily homes on 60' lote in Aloomington, <br />whiah have been very well reaeived. He stated that <br />Bloomington had approved the 60' lots due to the density. <br />Director Thatcher raported there ~.s not qutte enough <br />{,'"~creage (2.867) to meet the 3 acre need to declare a PUD. <br />°-~Mr. Haas sCated they would be able to reduce the selZing <br />price of each home bq $3,OQ0 -$4,000 with the narxower <br />lots. <br />, <br />Chairman Mountin pointed ont Chey had approved the double <br />bungelowe nrigiaally becauee that is what ~'he developer <br />had reqaested.
