RESOLUTION NO. 9008 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF RESOLUTIONS 5396, <br />5501, 5557 AND 7583 <br />WHEREAS, Council discussed fiscal and human resources challenges related to <br />live broadcasting all city meetings at their April and May retreat as well as the August <br />2018 workshop; and <br />WHEREAS, staff was directed to prepare a plan which was reviewed and <br />approved at the August workshop; and <br />WHEREAS, previous councils have adopted resolutions specific to live <br />broadcasting of city meetings; and <br />WHEREAS, City Attorney has advised we can repeals or suspend temporarily; and <br />WHEREAS, the experimentation period has been defined as those meetings <br />occurring between September 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves resolution 9008 which temporally suspends resolutions 5396, 5501, 5557, and <br />7583 <br />Adopted this 27th day of August, 2018. <br />Carol A.
