. . . MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. IOI-84 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING CHANGE IN ZONING DESIGNATION FOR A PORTION OF THE MILLER INDUSTRIAL PARK WHEREAS, Mr. John Miller presently owns a parcel of land within the proposed Miller Industrial Park bounded by County Road J, New Highway IO and the section of Long Lake Road north of New Highway IO; and WHEREAS, Mr. Miller has requested a recommendation of approval from the Planning Commission for a zoning designation change from its existing R-I zone to a B-3, Highway Business zone; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, as a result of a review of the zoning designations of all parcels within the City recommended an I-I zoning classification for this parcel; and WHEREAS, the recommendation of an I-I'zoning for this particular parcel was based upon the Comprehensive Plan designation of Industrial; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request by Mr. John Miller for a B-3, Highway Business zonlng designation for the parcel in question; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission concurs with the statement by Mr. Miller that a B-3 use on this property would be appropriate and would support and compliment the industrial zoning adjacent to it; and WHEREAS, this recommendation could be included with the other comprehensive rezonings presently being under- taken by the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends to the City Council that the Commission's initial recommendation of an I-I zoning classification for the parcel bounded by County Road J, New Highway IO and the Long Lake Road extension north of New Highway IO be amended to designate this parcel as B-3, Highway Business. The City Council may elect to include this parcel amongst the other comprehensive rezonings which were previously recommended by the Planning Commission;
