<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 106-84 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING POVLITSKI'S OFF-I0 <br />WALLEYBALL COURT REQUEST, 2400 COUNTY ROAD H-2, CASE 151-84 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard Povlitski, owner of povlitski's Off-l0 is <br />requesting approval to install an indoor volleyball (walleyball) <br />court; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is presently zoned B-3 Highway <br />Commercial; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that walleyball would <br />be an allowable accessory use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the walleyball court use would require an additional <br />minimum of six parking spaces; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner of Povlitski's Off-lO intends to close two <br />of his four entrances to his property and provide a minimum of ten <br />additional parking spaces; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the closing of two entrances will not only provide <br />additional parking spaces but better screen the adjacent and <br />abutting residential properties; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of the installation of the walleyball <br />court at povlitski's Off-l0 located at 2400 County Road H-2 and <br />issuance of the building permit after submittal and approval of the <br />plans and specifications. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission directs staff to forward this resolution to the City <br />Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 4th day of April, 1984. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />Ai ..fa M~- <br /> <br />Chalrm~ <br /> <br />A "11<' J~d <br /> <br />Director of Public Works/ <br />Community Development <br />
