<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 146-85 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING CITY CODE CHAPTER 32, "THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION; CHAPTER 39, "SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS; CHAPTER 40, <br />"ZONING" AND CHAPTER 41, "SPECIFIC REZONINGS" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 3.11 of the Mounds View Home Rule <br />Charter requires that the City review, revise, and rearrange <br />the Municipal Code at least once every two years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is reviewing the Code this <br />year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is customery for the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission to comment on Chapters 32, 39, 40 and 41; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has <br />reviewed these chapters during the past year; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission makes the following recommendations: <br /> <br />1. Chapter 32 - No changes necessary. <br />2. Chapter 39 - No changes necessary. <br />3. Chapter 41 - No changes necessary. <br />4. Chapter 40 <br /> <br />a) 40.10, Subd. B(3) - The number of children to <br />be cared for in one day care home should be <br />changed from 5 to 12 in order to comply with <br />state law. <br /> <br />b) The Planning Commission reviewed the possibil- <br />ity of reducing the size on accessory build- <br />ings. At this time, we recommend that the <br />sizes stay the same because when the size was <br />smaller, as the City has had in the past, <br />there were too many variances granted for <br />larger boats, riding lawn mowers, recreation <br />and garden equipment. <br /> <br />c) The Planning Commission recommends a section <br />about underground gas storage tanks.
