<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. l58-85 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING VARIANCE REQUEST BY RONALD O'CONNELL <br />(2296 TERRACE DRIVE), MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. 187-86 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. O'Connell has applied for a variance to <br />construct an addition to his house closer to the property line <br />than the City Code allows; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this addition is proposed to be 14 feet from the <br />west property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this property (2296 Terrace Drive) lS a corner <br />lot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the setback requirement is 30 feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the existing house has a 14 foot sideyard <br />setback; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the neighborhood is unique in that the <br />houses were constructed with 14 foot sideyard setbacks and <br />this setback will be a continuation of the character of the <br />neighborhood; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission grants a l6 foot variance from the sideyard <br />setback requirement on the west property line at 2296 Terrace <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Adopted this 5th day of March, 1986. <br /> <br />AT'!'EST: <br /> <br />~~/~ <br />crr-1rm <br /> <br />( SEAL) <br /> <br />
