<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 201-87 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING VARIANCE FOR DEBORAH OTTO, 7405 PARK VIEW DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Deborah Otto has requested authorization to <br />construct an addition to her single family residence located at <br />7405 Park View Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said residence is located within the 100 foot wet- <br />land buffer zone provided for in Chapter 48 of the Mounds View <br />Municipal Code entitled, "Wetland Zoning Code"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that a variance is necessary <br />in order to allow for the construction of an addition to a home <br />located within a 100 foot wetland buffer area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that all homes within the <br />area of the Otto residence are located within the 100 foot buffer <br />zone; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the original blueprint for this home included a <br />provision for a future addition as currently proposed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, denial would render any type of an addition to the <br />home impossible and would further deny any future alterations to <br />any other homes located in the area of the wetland in question; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed addition meets all the requirements of <br />the City's Zoning Code including minimum rear yard setback. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a variance is granted <br />to Deborah Otto, 7405 Park View Drive to allow the construction <br />of an addition to her existing home. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Staff should determine what <br />erosion controls may be required during construction and the <br />basement elevation is to be established at the existing basement <br />elevation per the plans submitted and received by the City of <br />Mounds View on August 31, 1987. <br />
