<br />RESOLUTION NO. 233-88 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CI'rY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE AMOCO OIL <br />COMPANY D~VELOPMENT REQUEST, 2155 HIGHWAY AVENUE, <br />PLANNING CASE NO. 241-88 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Amoco Oil Company has requested City approval to <br />construct a self-service car wash at 2155 Highway Avenue in the <br />City of Mounds View; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the development, as proposed, requires a condi- <br />tional use permit and development approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the follow- <br />ing documents regarding this development proposal: <br /> <br />1) Site Plan <br />2) Signage Plan <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and Planning Commission have <br />determined that the development proposal is in conformance with <br />the requirements of Chapter 40. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission recommends approval of the conditional use <br />permit with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1) The facility must, at all times, be in compliance with <br />State Laws and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br />Standards for air quality and noise. <br /> <br />2) TIle car wash facility shall include a blower system <br />designed to remove as much water as feasible from the <br />vehicle before it is allowed to exit the facility. <br />This equipment shall operate as a customer option from <br />April 16 to October 14 and as a mandatory service from <br />October 15 through April 15. <br /> <br />3) The conditional use permit and the conditions placed <br />upon it be recorded on the title with the County <br />Recorder's Office. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission directs staff to forward this resolution to the City <br />Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 17th day of August, 1988. <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />I ' <br />.' ./ <br />,/1 /1 . \ I <br />; (_/ 4l.---iY'fd..-qy <br />Chairman / <br /> <br />/~ <br /> <br />City Planner <br /> <br />, I <br />/.' / / <br />if- /~~..L-' <br />/ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br />
