<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 247-89 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />S'rATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT REQUEST BY GERALD CLOBES 'ro CONSTRUCT AN OVERSIZED <br />GARAGE AND ACCESSORY BUILDING AT 8044 EDGEWOOD DRIVE, <br />PLANNING CASE NO. 262-89 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Gerald Clobes, 8044 Edgewood Drlve, has <br />requested a conditional use permit to allow for the constructlon <br />of an overslzed garage (884 square feet) and to move his existing <br />garage to the rear yard for use as an accessory bUllding (348 <br />square feet); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mounds Vlew Municipal Code, Chapter 40.10, <br />Subdlvlslon C(D) provldes that the maximum size of a garage in an <br />R-l Dlstrict shall be 864 square feet unless a conditlonal use <br />permit is granted by the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Municlpal Code, Chapter 40.10, <br />Subdivlsion D(6) A through F, provides that the combined square <br />footages of all accessory buildings may be up to 1,264 square <br />feet when sald bUlldlng(s) are is designed and malntained to <br />provlde a unlform appearance wlth the prlnclple dwelling unlt, <br />but if the garage lS over 1,000 square feet no other accessory <br />bUlldlng will be allowed on the lot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds Vlew Plannlng Commission has revlewed <br />the appllcant's request for a condltional use permit and <br />determlnes that it lS in conformance with the aforementloned <br />conditions. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Plannlng Commisslon recommends approval of a conditional use <br />permit to allow for an oversized garage of 884 square feet <br />and an accessory building of 334 square feet for a total of 1,218 <br />square feet requested by Gerald Clobes, 8044 Edgewood Drive, <br />legally descrlbed as Woodlawn Terrace, Lot 28, contlngent upon <br />the followlng condltions: <br /> <br />1. The accessory building must conform with Sectlons <br />40.04, Subd. F and 40.10, Subd. C(l) of the Zoning <br />Code. <br /> <br />2. 'fhe comblned square footage of all accessory buildlngs <br />on one lot cannot exceed one thousand two hundred <br />slxty-four (1,264) square feet. <br /> <br />3. If the garage square footage lS greater than one <br />thousand (1,000) square feet, no other accessory <br />buildlng lS allowed. <br />
