<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 256-89 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />( <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT REQUEST BY MICHAEL FLAWS TO CONSTRUCT AN OVERSIZED <br />ACCESSORY BUILDING AT 7620 GROVELAND ROAD, <br />PLANNING CASE NO. 271-89 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Michael Flaws, 7620 Groveland Road, has <br />requested a condltional use permit to allow for the construction <br />of an oversized garage (1,078 square feet); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Municlpal Code, Chapter 40.10, <br />Subdivlsion C(l) provides that the maximum size of a garage in an <br />R-l Dlstrict shall be 864 square feet unless a conditional use <br />permlt is granted by the Clty~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mounds Vlew Munlcipal Code, Chapter 40.10, <br />Subdlvlsion D(6) A through F, provldes that the combined square <br />footages of all accessory buildlngs may be up to 1,264 square <br />feet when said bUllding(s) are/ls deslgned and maintained to <br />provlde a unlform appearance with the prlnciple dwelllng unlt, <br />but lf the garage is over 1,000 square feet no other accessory <br />bUlldlng will be allowed on the lot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has revlewed <br />the appllcant's request for a conditlonal use permlt and <br />determlnes that it lS in conformance wlth the aforementioned <br />conditlons. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds Vlew <br />Plannlng Commlsslon recommends approval of a conditional use <br />permit to allow for an oversized garage of 1,078 square feet <br />requested by Mlchael Flaws, 7620 Groveland Road, legally known as <br />Spring Lake Park Knolls, North 75 feet of Lot 18, contlngent upon <br />the followlng conditlons: <br /> <br />1. The accessory building must conform wlth Sections <br />40.04, Subd. F and 40.10, Subd. C(l) of the Zoning <br />Code. <br /> <br />2. The combined square footage of all accessory buildings <br />on one lot cannot exceed one thousand two hundred <br />slxty-four (1,264) square feet. <br /> <br />3. If the garage square footage lS greater than one <br />thousand (1,000) square feet, no other accessory <br />buildlng lS allowed. <br />
