<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 263-89 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF THE REQUESTED MODIFICATION <br />TO THE MORITORIUM DISTRICT TO ALLOW THE ADDITION OF A <br />FREE-STANDING SIGN AT MID-AMERICAN AUTO LOCATED AT <br />2975 HIGHWAY 10, PLANNING CASE NO. 275-89 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br />the modification request of Mr. Kevin Mullin, Mid-American Auto, <br />to allow the erection of a free-standing sign on the property <br />located at 2975 Highway 10, legally descrIbed as the east 166 <br />feet of part northeasterly of highway of Lot 13 and SubdIvision <br />No. 89, St. Paul, Minnesota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the <br />moritorlum disrIct and the appeal provisIon outlined in Ordinance <br />No. 466; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determIned that the <br />applicant has not demonstrated a hardship; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning CommissIon has determined that the <br />sItuation IS not unique to thIS property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determlned that the <br />proposed sIgn meets the sign requlrements outlined in Chapter 39 <br />of the City Code (SIgn Ordinance); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is located within the moritorium <br />dlstrict on Highway 10; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recalled that the <br />moritorium district is a temporary ordinance scheduled to be <br />lifted at the end of April, 1990. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Mounds VIew recommends to the City <br />Council denial of the requested modIfication to the moritorIum <br />Ordlnance No. 466. <br /> <br />Adopted this 6th day of September, 1989. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~<-:;;t. ,. )p~- <br />ctia1 r m <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />~L <br /> <br />CIty Planner <br />
