<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 311-91 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE REQUEST BY JOHN ENGBERG <br />FOR A VARIANCE TO ALLOW A 900 SQUARE FOOT GARAGE WHERE <br />AN 864 SQUARE FOOT GARAGE IS ALLOWED, 3030 COUNTY ROAD J, <br />PLANNING CASE NO. 304-90 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is presently a 900 square foot detached <br />garage on the property located at 3030 County Road J; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no building permit was obtained for the 900 <br />square foot detached garage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. John Engberg has applied for a variance to <br />allow the 900 square foot garage to remain where only an 864 <br />square foot garage is allowed by Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has <br />reviewed the variance request and the criteria for granting a <br />variance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the <br />applicant's hardship statement and agree that no hardship is <br />present on the property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that <br />there are reasonable alternatives to the request. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission recommends to the City Council denial of the <br />requested variance. <br /> <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission <br />directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City Council <br />prior to approval of the minutes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 6th day of March, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~ d Jt/~ <br /> <br />Chairma <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />~/~ 7~ <br /> <br />Planning Technicia~ ' <br />
