<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 316-91 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE REQUEST BY NORB YENISH, <br />2149 PROGRAM AVENUE, PLANNING CASE NO. 324-91 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Norb Yenish has requested a variance to <br />allow the construction of a sign at a height which is grater than <br />that which is allowed by the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Yenish is requesting a 15'-0" variance <br />from the height limits for a sign on his property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that <br />the property has a uniqueness to it not of the applicant's <br />making; specifically, properties adjacent to the parcel were <br />allowed to increase their elevations by 10'-0", thus, creating a <br />hardship for the applicant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no reasonable alternatives for the height of <br />the sign exist; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the requested variance is the minimum needed <br />to alleviate the hardship; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the granting of the variance will not confer a <br />privilege to the owner which is not enjoyed by other residents. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission grants a 15'-0" variance for height of a sign <br />at 2149 Program Avenue. <br /> <br />Adopted this 7th day of August, 1991. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />/,-/H /// L <br /> <br />Planner 7 <br />
