<br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 371-93 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING REQUEST OF <br />EVEREST DEVELOPMENT, PLANNING CASE NO. 367-93 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Everest Development has made application to rezone <br />the property located South of County Road H2 and Northeast of Highway <br />10 from B-3, Highway Business to PUD, Planned Unit Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is legally known as: <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of <br />the Southeast Quarter lying northeasterly of U.S. Highway No. <br />10, and the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Southeast Quarter, all in section 8, Township 30, Range 23, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, according to the United States <br />Government Survey thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 40.25, Subdivision A(5), provides that the <br />Planning Commission shall consider possible adverse effects of the <br />proposed amendment. It further states that judgement shall be based <br />upon, but not limited to, the following factors: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. Relationship to Municipal Comprehensive Plan <br />2. The geographical area involved <br />3. Whether such use will tend to or actually depreciate <br />the area in which it is proposed <br />4. The character of the surrounding area <br />5. The demonstrated need for such use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br />the request in relation to the aforementioned criteria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the rezoning request is consistent with the City'S <br />current Comprehensive Land Use Plan designation for this property <br />which is mixed use planned unit development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, approval of the request will provide for a zoning <br />designation which is consistent with the current and proposed land <br />use. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of the request to rezone the property <br />legally known as: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of <br />the Southeast Quarter lying northeasterly of U.S. Highway No. 10, <br />and the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Southeast Quarter, all in section 8, Township 30, Range 23, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, according to the United States <br />Government Survey thereof. <br />
