<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 377-94 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 401 <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED,"PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 3.11 of the Mounds View Charter allows <br />for the review and update of the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is customary for the Planning Commission to <br />comment on Chapter 401 of the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a review <br />of this chapter. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning <br />commission recommends the following changes be made to Chapter <br />401 of the Municipal Code: <br /> <br />401. 02: MEMBERSHIP; TERMS; OATH; COMPENSATION: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Membership; Terms: <br /> <br />a. Appointed Members: The Planning and Zoning commission <br />shall consist of not less than seven (7) nor more than nine <br />(9) members from the resident population of Mounds View, <br />other than persons elected to a public body, to be appointed <br />by the Mayor with approval of the City Council, from <br />applications submitted. The appointees shall have three (3) <br />year staggered terms; at least two (2) of these terms, but <br />not more than three (3) terms, shall expire each year on <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />401.03: REMOVAL FROM OFFICE; VACANCIES: <br /> <br />Subd. 1.
