MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 383-94 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING REQUEST OF EVEREST DEVELOPMENT, PLANNING CASE NO. 367-93 WH]~REAS, Everest Development has made application to rezone a portion of the property located South of County Road H2 and Northeast of Highway 10 from B-3, Highway Business to PUD, Planned unit Development; and WHEREAS, the property is legally known as: Lot 2, Block 1 Mounds View Business Park West Addition; and WHEREAS, Chapter 1125.01, Subdivision l(e) of the Mounds View Municipal Code provides that the Planning Commission shall consider possible adverse effects of the proposed amendment. It further states that judgement shall be based upon, but not limited to, the following factors: 1. 2. 3. Relationship to Municipal Comprehensive Plan The geographical area involved Whether such use will tend to or actually depreciate the area in which it is proposed The character of the surrounding area The demonstrated need for such use; and 4. 5. WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the request in relation to the aforementioned criteria; and WHEREAS, the rezoning request is consistent with the City's current Comprehensive Land Use Plan designation for this property which is mixed use planned unit development; and WHEREAS, approval of the request will provide for a zoning designation which is consistent with the current and proposed land use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends approval of the request to rezone the property legally known as: Lot 2, Block 1 Mounds View Business Park West Addition from B-3, Highway Business to PUD, Planned Unit Development.
