MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 384-94 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING REQUEST OF WESTMINSTER CORPORATION, PLANNING CASE NO. 375-94 WHEREAS, Westminster Corporation has made application to rezone a portion of the property located North of County Road I and Southeast of Highway 10 from B-2, Limited Business to PUD, Planned unit Development; and WHEREAS, the property is legally known as,: Lot 1, Block 9 Silver Lake Woods; and WHEREAS, Chapter 1125.01, Subdivision leE!) of the Mounds View Municipal Code provides that the Planning Comnlission shall consider possible adverse effects of the proposed cLmendment. It further states that judgement shall be based upon, but not limited to, the following factors: 1- 2. 3. Relationship to Municipal comprehenslive Plan The geographical area involved Whether such use will tend to or act:ually depreciate the area in which it is proposed The character of the surrounding arE~a The demonstrated need for such use; and 4. 5. WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning commission has reviewed the request in relation to the aforementioned critE!ria; and WHEREAS, the rezoning request is consistEmt with the City's current Comprehensive Land Use Plan designation for this property which is mixed use planned unit development; and WHEREAS, approval of the request will provide for a zoning designation which is consistent with the current and proposed land use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the ]~ounds View Planning commission recommends approval of the request to rlezone the property legally known as: Lot 1, Block 9 Silver Lake Woods from B-2, Limited Business to PUD, Planned unit Development.
