Mounds View City Council. February 27, 1989 <br />Regular Meeting Page Ten <br />• Mayor Hankner asked the status of the pipeline case. Mayor Hankner <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported a settlement <br />conference is scheduled for the end of March, and it <br />will be discussed in executive session. <br />Mayor Hankner reminded everyone of the goal setting <br />session for Friday and Saturday. <br />Mayor Hankner reported the Council will begin meeting <br />.with the Planning Commission every other Saturday to <br />review the update of the Comp Plan, with the fist <br />meeting scheduled for March 11. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Quick to set a meeting for <br />March 11 at 8:30 AM at the Mounds View City Hall, to <br />be a joint meeting between the Planning Commission <br />and City Council to review the update of the Comp <br />Plan. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Hankner reported Dynamic Designers would like to <br />come before the City with another proposal, but they <br />still awe money to the City for the last time they: <br />. were in. It was agreed to discuss further at the next <br />agenda session. <br />Mayor Hankner reported the County would like the City <br />to donate all City property for the library, rather <br />than have to purchase property. She brought up the <br />possibility of getting a community room attached, and <br />she also discussed the fact that a Maplewood facility <br />was being added in. Various options were discussed <br />and it was agreed to discuss further at the next agenda, <br />session. <br />Mayor Hankner suggested that a future City newsletter <br />show which services are received from the State, County, <br />School District, or City, and show what those services <br />cost. <br />Mayor Hankner reviewed a property tax statement <br />received from a resident. She suggested people check <br />them overly closely upon receiving them. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported Sunnyside School 25. <br />is in the process of raising funds for construction <br />of a playground, and students are selling candy bars <br />as a fund raiser. He expressed hope that the res- <br />. dents of Mounds View would support the Sunnyside <br />playground as well as they had supported the.
