There was considerable discussion before the vote was taken. Councilmember Paone expressed concern that with this exception, others along the Highway 10 corridor might also ask to make changes. Councilmember Blanchard stated she agreed with Councilmember Paone's comments and added there is a moratorium in place, and once one exception is • approved, it will be very difficult to control. She added this weakens the moratorium and ordinance. Councilmember Quick pointed out the property could not be improved, and this type of request as not falling category.
