The Pledge of Allegiance was said. MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Paone, Wuori, Quick and Hankner. ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/Administra- tor Pauley and City Planner Hren. Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve the Octo- ber 9, 1989 minutes as corrected. • 5 ayes 0 nays Before approving the October 16 special meeting minutes, Mayor Hankner stated that she disapproves of taking $7, 500 out of the advisory conunission budget from the Planning Commission, and would rather take it out of the Arden Hills sports complex .from next years budget. Councilmember Wuori stated she had spoke to the Planning Commission about this last week, and they would prefer to be consulted ahead of time rather than after the fact. Approval of Minutes: October 9, 1989 Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened the 5. public hearing at 7:08 PM. City Planner Hren reviewed the request of Amoco to install a car wash at their facility at 2155 Highway Avenue. They were granted a conditional use permit in September 1988, but the permit expired without construc- tion beginning. The Planning Commission has reviewed the request and recommends approval.
