If they had to have <br />it, th y at east wanted stipulations and they didn't <br />get an of t e conditions they asked for. She stated <br />that would ble remembered at election time. <br />Counci memb r Blanchard replied that Council has done <br />its be t to be responsive, and the residents put the <br />Counci in difficult spot by not appearing until <br />after he p blic hearing and then wanting the Council <br />to cha ge e erything. She added a lawsuit would have <br />been v ry e pensive. The Council has leaned over <br />backwa ds t work with the residents, and the residents <br />admitt d th y had received the notices of the hearing <br />but ha oth r things going on and didn't attend. <br />• Attorney Ka ney pointed out the Council represents all <br />the people f Mounds view and must keep in mind what <br />is best for all. <br />Mayor Hankn r noted how difficult it is to get people <br />invol ed, a d the residents need to pay closer attention <br />to wh t is oing on. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ms. S arion reviewed the background of the proposed 12.
