CU03-002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, property owncrs Steve and Sandy Eyler have applicd for a conditionalusc <br />pennit to construct a 1,344 square foot detached garage on their propcliy locatcd at 7988 <br />Edgewood Drive, which is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 35, Woodlawll Terrace <br />Ramsey COllllty, 111illllesota <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Zoning Code conditionally allows garagcs in cxccss of <br />952 square fcct in area with a maximum accessory building arca not to exceed 1 ,800 squarc fcct; <br />and. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has rcviewed the following documcnts regarding <br />this proposal: <br /> <br />a. Development Application <br />b. Zoning Map <br />c. Location Map <br />d. Proposcd Site Plan <br />e. Photographic documentation <br />f. Lettcr from Applicants <br />g. Staff Report <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds that the proposal satisfics thc <br />dimensional requircmcnts as outlincd in Chapters 1104 and 1106 the Zoning Code; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds that thc request is consistent with <br />the Mounds View Comprchensive Plan in that the Comprehensive Plan encouragcs the development <br />and maintenance o[residential areas so as to improve the quality, appcarancc and attractiveness of <br />housing units and residential propelty in general; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, thc Mounds View Planning Commission finds that thc proposcd garage would <br />not be out of place given thc character and geography o[the sUlTounding arc a involved and the size of <br />the subject property which is able to accommodate such a structure; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds Vicw Planning Commission finds that the proposed garagc would <br />not dcprcciate thc neighborhood; and, <br />
