<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 762-04 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VrE\V <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />ST A TE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPRO V AL OF THE MODIFICATION TO THE <br />MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission is required to review proposed <br />modifications to the Mounds View Economic Development Project; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Office of the State Auditor has ruled that the Economic Development <br />Authority must explicitly identify those properties which eould potentially be acquired; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Project identifies parcels which <br />could be acquired with Tax Increment financing funds; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the identified parcels would potentially be used to facilitate redevelopment <br />within Mounds View; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the redevelopment of the identified parcels would be consistent with the <br />City's goals and Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Mounds Vicw, finding thc proposcd modification consistent with the Comprehensive Plan, <br />hereby recommends approval to thc City Council of the City of Mounds View regarding <br />modification to the Mounds View Economic Development Project. <br /> <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs staff to forward <br /> <br />this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br />A ,; <br />/, , <br />Adopted this 16th day of June, 2004.
