~k Mounds View City Council August 13, 1990 Regular Meeting Page Seven Councilmember Quick stated if the Iink is not put in, '~ it would go against the Comp Plan, and he feels the Council should reaffirm the intentions of Resolution No. 3024. Motion/Second: Quick/Wuori to reaffirm Resolution No. 3024 as originally adopted on April 9, 1990. 4 ayes _ 1 nay Councilmember Blanchard voted against the motion, stating she did not feel it was in the best interests of the entire City of Mounds View. Mr. Minetor explained the Council had adopted a time- frame of 90 days, and they are already at 125 days due to some difficulties experienced during the traffic study. The Highway Department is putting plans together and going to bids. He noted the "~un~il has spent quite a bit of time on this, and ~ey need to make a decision since plans are being ~rawn. Mayor Hankner stated she had deliberately bought her home vn a dead end street, as a method of controlling future traffic problems. She noted the world is changing on a daily basis, and nothing remains the same.
