Resolution 890-Ot3 <br />P�ge 2 <br />(6) The permanent residents residing in independent living units shall be <br />limited to persons who are 55 years of age or over except that one other person <br />may reside in any senior or elderly housing unit including his or her spouse, parent, <br />foster parent, or legal guardian. <br />WHEREAS, amending the Zoning Code to incorporate senior housing in Planned <br />Unit Developments will serve to clarify the zoning requirements; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission concurs that an amendment <br />to the City Code is warranted and justified. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that <br />Commission recommends approval of an amendment <br />Mounds View Zoning Code by incorporating paragraph <br />Residential Planned Unit Development section as defined <br />the Mounds View Planning <br />to Chapter 1120.03 of the <br />"g" senior housing into the <br />herein. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission directs <br />staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes. <br />Adopted this 6�h day of August, 2008. <br />���� ��� �? <br />Gary Stever,� on, Chairpers n------ _�� <br />ATTEST: <br />Roberts, Community Development Director <br />(SEAL) <br />
