MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 952-11 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO <br />CHAPTER 1112 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW ZONING CODE TO ADD A CONDITIONAL <br />USE TO THE B-1, NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS, ZONING DISTRICT; <br />SPECIAL PLANNING CASE 182-11 <br />WHEREAS, City staff has recommended that a conditional use be added to the B-1, <br />Neighborhood Business District, Chapter 1112, of the Zoning Code; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission agrees with the City Staff recommendation to <br />add another conditional use to the B-1, Neighborhood Business District, Chapter 1112, of <br />the Zoning Code; and, <br />WHEREAS, City staff has amended Chapter 1112 of the Mounds View Zoning Code <br />by deleting the st�ie-IFes� language and adding the underlined text as follows: <br />1112.04: CONDITIONAL USES: The following are conditional uses in a B-1 District <br />(requiring a conditional use permit based upon procedures set forth in and regulated by <br />Section 1125.01 of this Title): <br />Subd. 7. Outdoor Vendinq Kiosks� provided that: <br />a. The kiosks shall use onlV electronic forms of payment. <br />b. Onlv movies and video qames mav be rented from the kiosk. <br />c. Mav be placed only at retail stores, motor fuel stations and restaurants. <br />d. Onlv one business on each propertv mav install outdoor vendinq kiosks. <br />e. The kiosk shall be placed immediatelv adjacent to the host businesses buildinq. <br />No loss of parkinq or interference with the flow of traffic shall occur due to the <br />placement of a vendinq kiosk. <br />WHEREAS, amending the Zoning Code to add another conditional use in the B-1, <br />Neighborhood Business, district will further the purpose of the zoning district, would better <br />serve the public and would clarify the zoning requirements; and, <br />
