RESOLUTION No. 1061-16 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO REDUCE THE FRONT YARD <br />SETBACK FROM FORTY FEET TO THIRTEEN FEET — TWO INCHES, FOR A <br />PARKING LOT, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2466 BRONSON DR. (PUBLIC <br />WORKS FACILITY); <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE MU2016-003 <br />WHEREAS, the property owner, the City of Mounds View, has requested approval of a <br />Variance to reduce the front yard setback for a parking lot, from 40' to 13'-2". The property is <br />located at 2466 Bronson Dr., Mounds View, MN, and legally described as: <br />Lot 1, Block 1 of Mounds View City Hall Addition <br />PID: 08-30-23-22-0042 <br />WHEREAS, the above-described lands are zoned I-1, Industrial, and designated as <br />Institutional in the Comprehensive Plan; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View City Code, Section 1104.01, Subd 4(c)(3)(a) <br />requires a minimum front yard setback of 40' for parking areas in the I-1 District; and, <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has requested to reduce the front yard setback from 40' to <br />13'-2" for a parking lot to be located along Bronson Dr.; and, <br />WHRE AS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the following <br />documents regarding this proposal: <br />1. Staff Report <br />2. Zoning Map <br />3. Aerial Map <br />4. Site Photos <br />5. Applicant's Narrative (plan drawings, dated Dec. 12, 2016, received Nov 7, 2016) <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission held a duly -noticed Public <br />Hearing regarding this request on November 16, 2016; and, <br />
