To protec#fhe planning process ur�derthe authority <br />of Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.355, Subdivisian 4, and fo profiect the pubiic health, <br />safety and welfare of the citizens of the City af Nlounds View, the City Counci! of the <br />City of Mounds View hereby adopts an interim ordinance which prohibits the presence <br />and siting af any new, or the expansion of any existing, pawn shops and related <br />establishments wi#hin fhe City af Mounds View. <br />�ubcl. 2. Ap�ticabil��y of O�°dinar�ce, This inferim ordinance shail be in effect <br />unti) the 27#h cfay of Septemf�er, 2a03, or until the final adop#ion of an amended <br />ordinance fo regulafe pawn shops and relafied establishments in the Cify ofi Mounds <br />View, whichever occurs first. <br />SECTION 2.
