The property <br />is currently zoned R-3, Medium Density Residential and they propose a B-2, Limited <br />Business district designation, which conditionally allows for veterinary clinics and animals <br />hospitals. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />The Comprehensive Plan, originally adopted in 1979, identifies this property as High <br />Density Residential. The proposed Future Land Use Map in the draft Comprehensive Plan <br />currently before the City Council designates this parcel as Community Commercial. <br /> <br />The Council gave first reading to Ordinance 684 at the last regular meeting on June 25, <br />2001. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff and the Planning Commission recommend adoption of Ordinance 684, an <br />ordinance rezoning 2625 Highway 10 from R-3, Medium Density Residential to B-2, <br />Limited Business, as shown on the attached map. <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />James Ericson <br />Community Development Director <br />763-717-4021 <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />1.
