<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5625 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHARLES HANSEN AS THE <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR/TREASURER <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Mounds View Finance Director/Treasurer <br />position has been vacant since June 7, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received and reviewed 18 applications for <br />the position and interviewed four candidates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Charles Hansen’s skills and experience most closely <br />match the city’s needs. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council appoints Charles Hansen as the City of Mounds View Finance <br />Director/Treasurer, and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes a <br />starting salary of $63,270.18 (step 3) annually with an increase to $66,785.66 <br />(step 4) in 6 months pending a satisfactory performance evaluation and an <br />increase to $70,300.20 (step 5) one year from the start date pending a <br />satisfactory performance evaluation, and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that vacation accruals will begin at <br />three weeks annually for Mr. Hansen <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this offer of employment is <br />contingent upon satisfactory reference, criminal and financial background <br />checks. Mr. Hansen will begin employment with the City on (or as soon as <br />possible after) October 1, 2001, and <br /> <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that all other personnel policies will <br />apply normally. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 24th day of September, 2001. <br /> <br /> <br /> Richard Sonterre, Mayor
