RESOLUTION NO. 5660 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2002 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT REQUEST <br />TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds to <br />improve recycling participation by the public; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide <br />administrative and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation <br />among city residents through education, awareness, and incentives; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined that this <br />is an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation <br />benefits the public health, safety, and welfare of the community as a whole. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approve the application for 2002 SCORE funding (attachment) and <br />authorize acceptance of any allocated funding. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 10th day of December, 2001 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br /> Mayor Rich Sonterre <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br />ATTEST: Kathleen Miller, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Motion: <br />Seconded: <br /> <br />Sonterre <br />Quick <br />Marty <br />Stigney <br />Thomas
