City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />August 29, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING STREET PROJECTS 2001-1 & 2001-2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby approve the commencement of <br />street projects 2001-1 and 2001-2 and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, project 2001-1 is identified as Co. Rd. H2 and project 2001-2 is identified as residential <br />project number three on the proposed project map and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is authorized to inform the participants of these projects of the current street improvement <br />policies and schedule neighborhood meetings to gather input for the projects and; <br />WHEREAS, staff is also authorized to negotiate and sign for engineering services for both projects from the <br />established consulting engineering pool and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, threshold Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ratings will be established to determine levels of <br />preventative and permanent maintenance and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a PCI rating of 75 or higher will be the level at which a street will continue to receive <br />preventative and permanent maintenance procedures and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a PCI rating of 45 or lower will be the level at which a street will not receive any preventative <br />or permanent maintenance procedures. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby <br />approve the commencement of street projects 2001-1 and 2001-2. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff is also authorized to negotiate and sign for engineering services <br />for both projects from the established consulting engineering pool. <br /> <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that PCI ratings of 75 and 45 will be established to determine levels of <br />maintenance performed to street segments. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 28th day of August, 2000. <br /> <br />ATTEST: ______________________________ <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) ______________________________ <br /> CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />C:\Mike's documents\projects\res no. 5464, 2001-1 2001-2.doc <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
